Such a cool place!!!! Classic prohibition speakeasy bar that has tons of charm. Def worth the visit. They have a very creative drink menu. Pricing is a little steep - but def a place ya gotta visit!
Love going to this place when we're in town. The staff are always so friendly and the drinks are exceptional (must try the espresso martini - it's chocolatey and delicious). You step into the 20s in this speakeasy with the staff dressed to fit the era and the entire vibe to match. Cocktails are reasonable price (approx $12-$14). To get in, you have to pick up the phone in the barber shop and use the right password. There's a clue on the wall
AMAZING. From the entry to the drinks and nosh available. The experience is amazing and won't give too many details out cause I think it needs to be something left for surprise :) check this place out!!!
A very decent bar. Cocktails are excellent, well made for a fair price, the inside is spacious with good lighting, the service is friendly and attentive. Of course, some things could be improved. The food is just ok. The entrance situation is gimmicky, to be honest (you have to pick up an old phone and answer a riddle to get in...). After authentic SF speakeasies, let's just say this stuff is unnecessary and doesn't add anything to the experience. The indoors was also very very hot. But these details can be overlooked for an overall pleasant bar.
Interesting little speakeasy. No reservations. Place got busy by 7:30pm on a Saturday night. Sat at the bar and watched people try to figure out how to get in. Don't feel bad, the 1st visit is always tricky. Inside is small, dimly lit with a nice vib. Passed on my usual wine and had a delicious cocktail. Polenta was so good as was the stuffed chicken. Next time will try the seating in when back with comfy sofa and try a few more cocktail.
